Captain John Erwin Schorr

John Schorr, my father-in-law, was a most generous man. He was always up for a trip out for a good time and to tell one of his many stories. He loved his family and did everything he could to bring peace and happiness to their lives! Fortunately for me, he and Marilyn had a seventh child who is the love of my life! God Speed John. You are missed greatly!

What a beautiful tribute to John! I only knew him for a short while. He and my mom were friends and I'd visit San Diego from time to time. He was always very kind to me. We shared recipes, most importantly his Pistachio Cake recipe. We still make it today and remember John. John took me to see River Dance and the S.D. Sports Arena. What an awesome show! I will never forget the short time we had. But I know he's in his forever home sharing his earth-time adventures to all the curious...

I always had high respect for John. He was very nice to me. I hope he was happy in his later years.
