Captain Barney R. Barendse Nc Usn

Barney was the best officer I ever worked for. He was the director at DPS, 1st Med Bn when we 1st met and he was my commanding officer at Echo Co, 1st Med Bn in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Storm. Barney inspired others with his leadership, integrity, honesty, concern and compassion for others.
