Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of Cara's passing. She was a wonderful person, warm and funny and caring. She had a very special place in my mother's heart because she took such good care of our grandmother at Vista Grande. I have always considered the Edgers to be extended family and am so sad for your heartbreak. I sure do miss the Holiday Inn reunions. Sending love to all.

A Celebration of Life Event will be held for Cara on Friday July 25,2025 from 3:30pm-6:30pm at the Commonwealth Commerce Center, 209 E Washington Ave, Jackson, MI 49201

I am so incredibly sad to read this. What a beautiful soul, a great wife, mother and daughter. I always enjoyed our chats when they would stop in for coney dogs. May you rest in peace, a great one gone far too soon. Sending love to the family.

What a shock to hear this sad news!! Cara was one of the kindest, and gentlest nurses I ever worked with. I first met Cara when she was a student nurse at Foote Hospital. It was a joy to have her under my wing as she learned the ropes of nursing. An excellent student! Then time passed. She became my boss at Vista Grande Villa! The best DON ever! We all loved Cara. Always kind and fair. You will be missed Cara. You were the best nurse and human being! Prayers and condolences to the family.

So sorry for your loss Mike. Condolences to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Caras passing. May she rest in peace. A long ago friend.

Rip! You were the reason I ever wanted to become a CNA, such a kind and supportive person who always had nothing but nice things to say about anyone I´ll miss you forever

Mike, Ibby, Reta, Mark, Ellen, and families, so very sorry in Cara´s passing. A beautiful, caring person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

First, to Cara's family, Mike, Ib, Reta and close friends, my deepest condolences. Cara was a classy, intelligent woman. She and I worked together at Vista Grande Villa. I was the Executive Director, and we worked side by side to deliver phenomenal results. Cara led for outstanding results, and she achieved them: highest corporate record for Resident/Family Satisfaction (ever). We shared laughter and some tears, and we remained close well after we both left Vista. The fact that Cara's...
