Cara, I will always remember you from my childhood as a brave, intelligent and spirited individual. Way to always be fearless and kind, I have always admired the way you have made your own path.

I only met Cara very briefly just before her untimely passing. She seemed like a charming, beautiful and spirited young woman. I was heartbroken to hear of her passing after so recently having met her. I wish her family peace as I have a similar tough situation in my life, and know how hard it is. May you all finally get the rest and peace you well deserve, as well as Cara. My deepest sympathies.

Cara, you will be remembered by me for your expression through fashion, walking happily with friends around our neighborhood, and for your boundless, intellectual potential. You were a fabulous, accelerated math student and bravely unique individual. You will be missed for all you were able to be and live in my imagination when considering possibilities of what you could yet have become.

I can't believe you are gone. I was literally talking about you last weekend and how we scared each other in the kitchen. You will be missed.
