Not sure what to say?

Carey was the consummate gentleman. He was very well liked, very personable, and a fun guy to be around. He loved to play golf with his friends and took the game seriously, however, you'd never know it with all the joking around that went on during a round. I was sorry to hear that he was not feeling well and extremely sorry of his passing.

We love Carey.. he is one of the good guys. He always loved talking about his family, his friends and his life. I am sure the Steelers will miss their No. 1 fan as much as all of us will miss him.

Knowing Carey has made a positive impression on my life. Thanks Carey.

We will always remember Carey's organizational skills when it came time to have a party in the neighborhood. We will grieve for his passing, but not for long. He would have been insulted and embarrassed thinking about all the long faces. We loved him, and our Hollyberry neighborhood will miss him terribly.

"A Gentleman's.... Gentleman."

I remember Carey always ready with a golf shirt for us golfers . He was a great friend and supporter of the " Big I " and what it represented.
RIP Carey Jules Borrus

I first met Carey at NJ insurance events when I was a young Marketing Rep for a local carrier. Carey was so warm and welcoming; his smile was infectious. When you were in his company you couldn't help but laugh. He will be greatly missed, especially around the golf course.

As President of the Class of 1961, you represented us well. May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.

Enjoyed the many times spent with Carey on the golf course and sharing a drink or two afterwards at all those insurance outings. He was always full of life and ready with a joke to be told. My sincere condolences to his family - he will certainly be missed by all that knew him.

Carey celebrated a life lived to its fullest everyday with a loving family and close friends. May those memories keep smiles on everyone's faces when they think of him.
