Not sure what to say?

It's been a long time and just getting over the sad events of the past. I remember telling Cari I would see her in Kuwait as she left on her convoy and I left on mine. It was one last mission for both of us before heading home. I was devistated when I returned to base and found out about her convoy being hit. She was a great soldier and like a sister. Always there when needed. I know she is in the hearts of all those that had the honor of knowing her and serving with her. Thank you Cari for...

Dear Cari, from what I gathered from my researches we have ancestry in common from Molise region of Italy. I am so sorry for what happened to you. I think about you and all my love to your family.

Yesterday another year has passed which now adds up to 20 years since your mother and I have last seen you. We really miss you a lot and think about you every day. Sometimes we think you are watching over us because funny things happen to us around the house, and we yell out Cari is that you playing with us. We know you and your pal Sabre are in a good spot. We love both of you and again miss you very much.

Today marks 20 years. One of the most genuine & caring people ever was taken to soon. Someone who no one could ever say a negative word about. Always a professional & model soldier! Cari left a positive impact on everyone everywhere she went! I know she will always be remembered by myself & all the 202nd Bn! Countless memories of her and Ben.. meeting her parents.. even my mother visited Cari's family during a visit to upper NY and my mother couldn't stop saying how kind Kathy & Paul were...

Dear Fam. Gasiewicz: This year will be 20 years since SGT Gasiewicz left us. The day before her departure I saw her in the DFAC. "Sir, I'm going home tomorrow". I was so happy for her. Then...I heard what happened. Due to her service, we're safer today. May her memory be a blessing to you, as we continue mourning her loss, after all these years. CH (CPT) José Massanet TXARNG, Ret.

Cari, I miss you so much. You were an amazing friend and comrade. There is not a day that goes by that I don´t think of you.

December 4, 2004....the worst days of lives. The pain is unbearable even today. All we have is the precious memories of your laugh, smile, and unstoppable love for everything. You always saw the good in people even at the worst of times. You live in our hearts forever and we will never forget the wonderful woman we knew and still love. Our hearts are still shattered. Love, Dad and Mom
