Deepest sympathy from an old friend from years back in AnSonia. A friend and gentleman that remembered people as he successfully gained political honors, but always acted with respect for old contacts as he progressed. I remember Carl through other friends and relatives and my days back at the Subway Restaurant in the early 70´s. A gentleman and great acquaintance. My sympathies to his family, from Ann Arbor Michigan- Jim Hine

Deepest condolences to Jackie, Michelle and Carl, Jr. May he rest in peace.

To Jackie, Michelle and Carl Jr. A singular leader who remembered his blue collar roots. Heartfelt sympathy on your loss. Carl was privileged to outlive his political contemporaries Ella Grasso. Bill O'Neill, Ed Caldwell. John Bailey. Even a quick card game in the Hawaiian Room with Lowell Weicker. Those were different times. But there was always laughter along the way. To know Carl was a blessing.

Jackie, Michele and Carl I have so many fond memories of the good times as our families were growing up together. Please accept my love and sympathy Judy
