Not sure what to say?

Always fond memories of Vic and you, too, Carol. See you Saturday

Vic was my Sunday School teacher for our high school class at Westminster Presbyterian Church in the late '70s. He was always able to explain the Bible in terms that we as youth could understand.

I am a Fort Worth attorney with an image of Vic burned into my brain from the early 1980's. I had been in private practice only a short time and each trial was a scary event. I was sitting in the gallery one day waiting for a motion hearing. Vic was at counsel table and a jury trial was proceeding. The other attorney was questioning the witness. I saw Vic leaning back and kind of sitting in a very casual way - not disrespectfully in any way, just comfortable. I thought to myself that it...

Vic was one of the most wonderful guys I ever had the privilege of working with at Shannon, Gracey. Always a smile, a kind word and lots of joking around. He will be missed. Prayers going up for his family.

Vic was both an athlete and an academic. I cherish our younger days together on both the football field and in the classroom.

I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. Sending love your way.

Vic was a close and dear friend during our jr. high and high school years. I cherish the memories of his smile and his laughter. May our Lord comfort you during this difficult time.

Sending sympathy to all of Vic's family!!! I went through school in Waco all of our school years beginning at Dean Highland elementary! He was my "secret crush" from first to sixth grades! What a kind special boy he was! My heart aches at his loss!!! May the Lord bless and keep all of you today and in the days ahead!!!!

Vic and I were young associates and then partners for 18 years at SGRM. Vic was an excellent trial lawyer and a loyal follower of Ben Hogan's Five Fundamentals of the golf swing. May he rest in peace. Bill Bowers
