ARMSTRONG, age 82, beloved husband of the late Millie (nee Shimrak); loving father of Dennis (Nancy); grandfather of Corrine Armstrong (Tim), Katie Delligatti (Derek) and Patrick Ryan; great-grandfather of Aiden, Jensen, Jaime, Adeline, Adrienne and Emmy; brother of Robert and the late William and James; uncle, cousin and friend of many. Passed away August 18, 2020. Funeral Mass Saturday, August 22, St. Patrick Church (West Park) at 9:30 A.M. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, FRIDAY 5-7 P.M. where social distancing will be observed and face masks are required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Rd., Parma, OH 44134 would be appreciated.

God Bless Uncle Carl. It was fun to have an Uncle who always smiled and cracked jokes no matter the occasion. He was such a nice man who loved his wife and son. I hope he is at peace with his parents and his brothers Bill & Jim. We will miss you! Your nephew, David

I was privileged to know Mr. Armstrong at Holy Family. I remember him as friendly and welcoming to me as a new employee. I enjoyed talking with him about farming, cars, cooking and gardening. He was a man of many knowledge about many things, thank you Mr. Armstrong for your sharing your git of knowledge to me. God be with you.
