Not sure what to say?

My Dearest Carl, Another year has passed and we all still love you and miss you so much. I think of you often. I am lighting a candle for you today. You will always live on in all the hearts you touched. Love forever, Liz

My Dearest Carl, You already know how much I love you and miss you. I know you hear me when I frequently talk to you. Thank you for watching over all of us. We truly appreciate you. You are still alive in all of our hearts and always will be. Love is the only thing we take with us, and you had so much love when you were here and continue to have that bond with so many of us who carry you in our hearts always. Liz Evans

Carl was one of the best human beings on the planet. He never met a stranger and always tried to help anyone he could. I met him as an eighth grade student and to this day I am so grateful to have had him in my life. He was a lighthouse to all the students during the very dark days of our 1970 school year. To this day whenever we talk to each other his name always comes up. He will never be forgotten. He will always be missed. The world is a dimmer place without him. Well done Mr. Azzara,...

Too soon, my friend. Far too soon.

Dear Judy,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Carl was a wonderful, interesting, and funny man. Please take good care of yourself. I will try to get in touch when I am back in the US. Love, Carmen

God's blessings to Carl's family members at this sad time.

May the Lord look over the Azzarra and Ryan families in this time of great sorrow.

"Man, can you play me a memory
I'm not really sure how it goes
But it's sad and it's sweet
And I knew it complete
When I wore a younger man's clothes."

I am honored to be one of his many, many friends. We were colleagues at H.D. Thoreau Intermediate School 1975-83.

My dearest Judy , my deepest condolences to you and our family . Love you !!
