Not sure what to say?

Dearest Pat,
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Seems like just yesterday we were waiting for the men to come back from war, Jim and I married and my prayers that day were for you to have Lee home so you could marry.
I will miss emailing him. He kept me up on ND & the church.
Will never forget the trip up to Mich. to see you, and Lee got out a bottle of champaign to celebrate. You were such a handsome and perfect couple.
I could go on for ever but just want you to know our...

Lee kept a gentle positive, spiritual outlook throughout the years that MS continued its progress. He is respected for his appreciation of uplifting mail sent on the internet which kept contact through the years.

So sorry for your loss.

We rejoice now in knowing that Carl IS more alive then ever. H sees, hears, taste, smells, and feels only what we dream of. I can envision him dancing and literally running around to talk to the many saints who have gone on before us. I'd like to thank you Carl for being a joy to talk to and for sharing your love of Christ with us. As Father Tim expressed "you,ve traded your cross for a crown".

Sixteen years ago we had the privilege of Pat and Carl as our "mentor" couple at Queen's as we were preparing for marriage. Here we are going on 17 years later and I can't help but still remember some of the wisdom (and humorous reality realizations they promised, that have come to pass!) shared from them both to us. We will always be appreciative! Peace to your hearts and may God Bless you all.

Pat and family,
Our sincere sympathy and prayers go with you. We have wonderful memories of Carl from Queens Church. He was intelligent, friendly and kind. May loving memories surround you.

Farewell, cousin - and our sincere condolence to your family. Our admiration of you was from a distance, but it was always present. You have been inspiration to many, and your smile will be etched in the memories of all those whose path you crossed. The bitterness of of your passing is a reminder of the respect you commanded from all those who enjoyed the sweetness of knowing you.

We are sorry to learn of Lee's passing. We would drive from Rochester once or twice a year to meet for lunch, but less frequently the last couple of years. We shared a lot of good memories, especially on the occasion of a classmate's death. We shall miss his comments and insight. Despite his problems with MS, he kept very aware of our current political, religious, and personal situations, and was helpful in discussing them.

I did not have the great pleasure of knowing Carl until later years when we discovered each others passion for advocating for the sanctity of life. It truly was such an honor to be blessed with his friendship. May the angels welcome you to Paradise! We will meet again dear friend.
