Not sure what to say?

Many thoughts and prayers are with family and friends of Carl.
The few of us, of the 1950 CPD class, will all be with you soon Carl. John W. Teele, New Albany, Oh

I worked for Capt. Bailey at the training academy. He was quite the jokester, going so far as to load up his own cigaretts and blame it on Lt. Goldsberry. He was a very good leader and a great man.

Socrates said that a life without virtue was an unhappy life. Based on my contact with Capt Bailey, he was deservedly happy. Our thoughts are with the family.

I am deeply sadden by the death of Captain Bailey. I knew him for many years. He was a very nice and jolly person. I worked at police headquarters and looked forward to him coming on 3rd shift for 3 months . I also knew him when I went thru the academy to become an auxilary police officer. Carl was a good friend to my Mom & Dad for many years. I took a liking to him because, in many ways, he somewhat reminded me of my Dad. In recent times, he became a special friend to my mother, husband and myself. He was sometimes stubborn, persistant & set in his ways, but we would just laugh with him about that. We will miss his company, laughing and joking with him & our phone conversations. He made us happy, as I think we did the same to him. He was always full of surprises & very...
