Not sure what to say?

To the Bender family. I only just saw that Carl had passed away. He was the absolute best OB around. I remember his telling me to sit up, and reach down and pull my baby out. What a feeling that was. A funny recollection, Acton Cinema was packed. Someone saw him and said hey there's Dr. Bender. He stood up and everyone clapped.

I am so sadden to hear of Dr. Bender's passing. He was my doctor from age 18 until he retired. He delivered both of my daughters at Emerson. The most gentle, caring and kind doctor. One of the best! My condolences to his family!

I am so so sorry to hear of dr bender passing. He was my dr and delivered both my boys. I adored dr bender he was the best dr ever. He was professional and kind. He took very good care of me when I was at Emerson. Hospital. I will keep you all in my prayers again my heart goes out to all of you Andrea Connolly Peabody mass

Remembering Dr. Bender for his kindness, gentleness and humor. He did not deliver my two sons, but he was my Gyn for approximately 20 years. He always updated me on his daughters, whom he loved so much! Rest in peace Dr. Bender.

Very sad to learn of Dr. Bender´s passing. He cared for me while I carried my son in 1979, delivered my daughter in 1981, and delivered another son eight years later. He was an exceptional and compassionate doctor - reserved but also had a sense of humor which he would use to make me laugh when I wanted to cry. My condolences to his family. I´m sure he will be missed by many.

Something made me think of my doctor that I had from 19 years old through my 50´s until he retired. Just for the heck of it, I googled his name. How sad to read he just recently passed away. Many memories. The best being him telling me when my oldest was due. And, sure enough, he hit the mail on the head. Did it again when my daughter was born. He missed both deliveries though. With #3, he told me a date. As it got closer we realized it was on a Jewish holiday, and he would not be working....

I worked with Dr Bender at Emerson as a new nurse before he retired. He was always very kind to me and I appreciated that as a new nurse. I´m very sad to hear of his passing. I would like to send my deepest condolences to his family.
