My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

To Carl's family and friends:
Carl and I joined the Marines on the buddy system back in 1967. Carl displayed a heart of courage and a desire to success in all walks of life. My he forever rest in the hands of the lord.

Cass, Knowing that I share with you today and in the days to come is not just something to say, but something that I mean. You held me up many days and I will be the shoulders that you need (anytime). God looked down and saw that Poppy was the addition that He needed in His garden. So He picked him, leaving you and your family with all the wondnerful memories to share. Please find comfort in knowing that Poppy is no longer in any pain and from here on there is just beautiful rest. I love you...

Sylvia, Jackie, Angie & Cassandra & Family,

God saw Carl getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around him and whispered "come to me." Although you loved him dearly, you could not make him stay, his golden heart stopped beating, and hardworking hands at rest, God broke your hearts to prove to you, He only takes the best.
May you find comfort in knowing that God loves you and will keep you in his care.

Pat & Lester Cross & family, Hampton,...

Both Angie and Cassie there aren't any words that can express the sadiness of such a great loss. Carl was a hero. He was a hero to us all. My memories of him will continue to live on and comfort me as they will comfort you. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I will miss your "sure, Sugar" anytime I had a request (Marcia)

To all the family: Our sincere condolences and prayers are with you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said,...
