Not sure what to say?

RIL coach, you are missed.

Coach Bowser taught a group of us Garces girls in the year 1967 as we majored in physical education our first year of jr. college...have thought of him over the years as one of the nicest teachers and a really great teacher and coach along with Herb Loken who also passed in the last few years... many condolences to the Bowser family Kay Wattenbarger Barnes

Dear family, I knew Carl as someone you knew, admired and thought of such a nice guy! While I lived in Bakersfield, I knew about his being a super coach and well-liked by the community. Back then, the old times..smile..Bakerfield residents knew each other and would run into someone at a Bar B Q or event. I'm happy that he got to have a long life and I hope most of it was without poor health but full of fun and making memories with his family. Reading his obituary makes me think I got that...

The lessons learned and the experiences shared as a Renegade under an amazing staff (1972-73) are immeasurable. Coach Bowser was a major ingredient. We all are fortunate to say we played for him

Thanks to Coach Bowser's family for sharing him with us as our Coach. He was the guy who could always make my Dad laugh.

Rest in peace,coach Bowser.

To the Bowers family - I was never coached by Coach Carl, but his impact was known throughout the Garces community. Coach Carl was definitely One of a Kind!

Rest In Peace Coach ,Love The Banducci Family

Like so many other Renegade fans I attended every game Carl coached. But on a more personal side, when coach was teaching tennis, I played doubles against him in class. We had a ball! He was a great coach and teacher but also just a wonderful kind human being. Peace be with the fallen.
