He could never remember where he put his glasses, even when they were on top of his head, but he could tell you everything about the old Brooklyn Dodgers, the Miami Dolphins, and who should have won every Orange Bowl. A gruff, wise-cracking exterior masked a soft heart that would stay up all night holding a heating pad to a sick pup. I will greatly miss my father-in-law.
