Carl and I attend the Maryland Institute College of Art together in the early 1980's. We lost touch for a while but found friendship again. He was a sweet person. May he rest in peace.

Carl, gifted artist, music lover, thoughtful and loyal friend was simply one of the loveliest people I have ever had the good fortune to know.

Carl was a lovely man and a wonderful artist. I first had the pleasure of meeting him when I served as director of the Frederick Arts Council. He submitted one of his pieces for a Frederick Magazine cover contest, which was selected as first runner up. We also held our annual dinner at Ceresville and each year he made a point to work that event. Carl often shared positive and inspirational messages through social media and always posted the columns I wrote for others to see. I was sad to hear...

Carl was a Wonderful person and touch my life and my heart deeply. He will for ever be missed.

I was so very sad and shocked to hear of Carl's passing, he will be missed by so many. I was so fortunate to know him since Mr. Dore's art classes at BHS, and to have the opportunity to connect with him again along the way since moving back here from New England, and always happy to call him "friend".
