Carl Edmund Calvert

We just found out about Carl's passing while watching a show on KPBS, on the museum in Campo.
We remember Carl from our time living in Solana Beach and living by his brother and sister-in-law. Our entire family has such wonderful memories of riding in one of his "classics" in the Encinitas Parade in the 80's and attending he and Ginger's wedding.

I just found out about Carl's passing this weekend. I am very saddened and still in shock. I met Carl and his brother many years ago at the Hershey, Pa. Fall car meet. We shared a love of things mechanical, and kept in touch. I last spoke with him a month or so ago. He was working on the roof of one of the buildings for the museum. We had shared memories of a friend we lost last year, Don Steinman. I was looking forward to seeing Carl at Macungie or Hershey this year. My condolences...
