Uncle Carl lived with my family each summer when he was at Hardin Simmons. I love all my aunts and uncles, but I have always felt closer to him. He was one of a kind and my parents loved him dearly. When my dad, Mott was ill with cancer, he and Marie insisted that my mom and dad stay with them while dad was going through treatments.
