I worked with Carl for several years at the PUCO before he retired. I remember him talking about his twins (he kept their photos in his office) and his grandson (the first). He was very proud of his family. He was one of the kindest, most decent person I have ever worked with and it was always a joy to see him when he came back to celebrate someones retirement. I really considered it an honor to have been a co worker. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt sympathy.

Dear Emma, Brenda, Brian, and Carl Jr.,
I am so sorry to hear the news of Carl's passing. Looking back, Carl was more of a father figure to me than anyone and I have nothing but fond memories of him and his strong influence in my life...even though he always called me "Turkey" :) I wish I could be there with you to enjoy some of the great memories everyone has to share. I am sorry but I haven't written a sympathy message before, so I don't know exactly what to say. I hope you...
