Carl John Connolly

Carl John Connolly went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2023. 

Graveside services will be held in the Pavilion at the Petrolia, TX cemetery at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

Carl was born June 7, 1951, in Wichita Falls to Paul and Abbie Connolly.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Petrolia.  Carl was a lifelong resident of Petrolia, Tx.  He attended school at Petrolia, Hirschi High School and graduated from Vernon College.  Carl enjoyed working on cars, lawn mowers and gardening.  He was always so proud of the vegetables he raised in his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Connolly and Abbie Collins Connolly, sister Marge Fougeron and husband Robert Fougeron.

He is survived by his sisters Dr. Paula Burt and husband Daniel Burt of Burkburnett, TX and Carolyn Hart and husband Ed Hart of Fort Worth, TX and brother, David Connolly of Petrolia, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contribution to Petrolia Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 445, Petrolia, Texas 76377.
