Carl R. Cooper

COOPER, Carl R. - Age 83, passed away November 17, 2005 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Carl was born December 29, 1921 in Bay City, Michigan. Carl graduated from Flint Central High School. He married Maxine Evans on June 22, 1945, who preceded him in death in 1995. Carl retired from Fisher Body Coldwater RD Plant in 1987. Carl was very involved with his faith. He was a member and Deacon of Dixie Baptist Church and a long time member of Twin Cities Baptist Church. Carl enjoyed teaching Sunday School with his wife Maxine. Carl moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2000. Carl enjoyed fishing, traveling, church activities and being with people. He is survived by his son, Michael Cooper and his wife MaryAnne; his daughter, Elaine Sherwin and her husband Jeff; sisters, Emma Vickerman, Leona Mudd; and a brother, Harry Cooper. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Krista, Kyle, Brittney, Trevor; and a great-grandson, John Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Edwin and Elizabeth; brothers, Victor and Lorne. Donations can be made to Dixie Baptist Church School.
