Carl Darling

I worked with Carl at Valley Marine and again at Sunset Sports. Carl and I spend many days having a ton of fun skiing at Bogus or McCall in the winter and water skiing on Lake Lowell in the summer when we would "test" the boats. On one of the McCall trips the snow was crazy deep and coming down hard. Carl went down a narrow trail ahead of me and he fell big time, he hollered back to me to be careful of the Trip Snake that got him! Carl was a very good friend!

Carl and I worked together as young lads back in the mid 70's, he was a good and decent man. We worked for my father at Lloyd's Country Store in Nampa. Me 19 and Carl 21, we always got the late shift on Fridays :). What a great salesman, he could hand crease a western felt hat like no other and sell you a pair of cowboy boots all at the same time. The employees were like family. Prayers to Lynn and family.

They say the good die young. Carl was one of the best of the good guys. Watching you grow as a young family across the street. Carl coming home from the "Daily Miracle" (Daily Statesman) as he often called it. Jeff was my best friend, Chrissy an angel. We were neighbors then, connected at the heart. Can't wait to be neighbors in heaven. We'll always love you.
