Not sure what to say?

Officer Dickson served his Country and Our Department with honor. My sincere condolences to his family. We have lost a great warrior and a good and honest man

If there are any sharp, deeply indented teeth marks in Pappy's pipe I probably caused him to put them there. I rode with him as a rookie in my 3rd month on the street, Oct./Nov '68. We were at a drive-in grocery on Dixie (not the farm road) near Mykawa where I think Pappy was getting some pipe tobacco. While he was inside Det. Baker and his partner in Auto Theft put out a chase with a stolen VW. The chase progressed around the South Park (now MLK) area. IH610 south wasn't quite finished....

A great man of few words.....make sure that you send his pipe with him.it s an honor to have known him..........F A Kurtz

What a fine fella this was. I rode with Pappy Dick once in a while, when I was at Park Place evening shift, and I was always sure with him in charge we would survive the shift. When you hear they don't make them like this any more, this is the man they are talking about. A fine man that led a fine life, all of us that were guided by Pappy were very fortunate.

Carl Albert Dickson Family,
Our sincere condolences of the loss of your patriarch.
Our undying gratitude and honor to Carl for his service to our nation and his loyalty to the citizens of our community.
