Not sure what to say?

Carl gave me my check ride several years ago. After that he checked me out to fly the Mooney 201. I will always remember him as a wonderful teacher. Agnes Clare

Carl, thanks for my Private on my 17th birthday and my Commercial on my 18th. You set the standards for pilots in the Northwest.

Carl was a friend and instructor to me for many of years. From help from him on good nutrition and flying. After crashing my plane in Oregon city totaling it out Carl give me the keys to one of his plane the next day and told me get out there and go fly. Thanks Carl for all the good advice.

Carl taught my husband Dan to fly many years ago at Mulino Airport. Someone in their message said Carl had integrity, honesty and confidence. I would like to add he had an understanding and a realness that made him an instant friend and someone to admire. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family, but we all know he still has wings.

Carl taught my husband Jack Sr. to fly in 1965. Then my son, Jack Jr. worked for him for 10 years. He was a special family friend, we had many good times together with him. After Jack passed away, Carl would call and check on me and my health. He was very special and will be missed a lot. With love, Helen Quaintance

Thank you Carl for being such a great friend and a part of my family's life. You taught Kim and I how to fly and I will cherish forever the many hours of "right seat" time in the Comanche 40 Papa and I'll never forget my first solo around the tree at Mulino in 41 Charlie. Thanks for being there for me and the girls after Kim.....love you with all my heart and will miss you til i see you again.

I don't remember a time in my life when Carl wasn't part of it. Not always in the physical but always in my heart. He was my dad's teacher and a dear family friend. He was there for our family after my dad passed away in 1992. I am glad I was able to see him a few months ago and wrap my arms around him. You will be greatly missed. I love you!
God Bless your family cause I know he is blessing you!

Carl was A fine man and it was my pleasure to have known him.

Well, as they say, "he did it his way" and most people wouldn't fault it. How many of us can say that? Carl Dietz, a pilot's pilot.
