Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to read of Carl's passing in the BSU Alumni magazine - surely one line is not a fitting tribute to such a wonderful man. Although I only knew him for a few years while attending BSC, he was a special friend to me and I'll always remember his kind demeanor. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends - - May God bless Carl and may he rest in Peace.

We would like to convey our deepest condolences to the friends and family of our Brother Carl Dietz. He will be truly missed by all of us. Godspeed Brother.

When we first met Carl and Laurie a beautiful friendship began. The two of them welcomed Tony and I into their lives. We became more like family. We truly enjoyed all of the wonderful times we were able to spend with Carl and Laurie. His awesome touch with the food and drinks he made always had me asking for his recipes. We will truly miss his kindness, his laughter, the wonderful conversations and all the awesome times we had. May he rest in eternal peace, our neighbor, friend and extended...

Carl, I have known you for 59 years. You were an awesome brother- an awesome human being...Steady, consistent, always there. You worked hard and played hard. I have memories of your pranks and jokes going way back to our youngest years. You loved laughing at yourself and laughing at others... all the while keeping your heart light, kind, attentive, and decent. Your quiet demeanor and thoughtful presence made you welcoming and approachable. You loved life and being alive. My heart...

Carl was special addition to the family! He was such a nice guy and a wonderful cook! His courage and hard fought fight was an inspiration to all of us. Laurie, you were given a gift when you found him! A smile and honorable images come when we think of Carl. All our love and prayers.

I became friends with Carl when He worked in the Building Department and I was in the Assessor's Office. He was friendly, kindhearted, and helpful. He will be missed.
