Dr. Doerschuk was both mentor and loyal friend during my tenure as executive director of the Rainbow chapter of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. His caring and compassion were beyond measure and I was grateful for the knowledge he so willingly shared. Our loss in this life is great, but Heaven has surely gained an Angel of the highest order.

Dr. Doershuk was my twin brothers' doctor until they passed in their 30's. It was a great comfort to both them & my family to have such a dedicated doctor treating them. They also had Cystic Fibrosis. My sincere condolences.

carl saved our daughters life in 1968. he was a quiet, very
caring lung specialist who spent many hours caring for our
daughter. he asked me if i could raise money for the cf foundation
and thus was born the annual cf golf tournament. this world
has suffered a great loss with his passing. may you all find
peace with all the wonderful memories you have of him.i will
miss him.
