Not sure what to say?

I served with Hammer in the 82nd Airborne and he was truly a unique person who looked after his friends as though they were brothers. He even helped me on the EIB course when he did not have to, and I still owe him for that one. You are missed, old buddy. I still think about you and some others time to time, so in a way, you still live on.

Bunny, I don't know how long it has been since you've been gone, but it has definitely been too long. I'm happy you're at Arlington, it truly is stoic and made for heroes. I miss you, I never forget you. Life is life, and every day I wish you were still with us. I hope you're having a terrific time wherever you are.

Still pushin' specialist, miss you.

Erik it's now been almost a year since we lost you. You will not be forgotten by Lux or the rest of your family. We love you.

I am sorry for the family and friends of Carl. I am just learning about this loss.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Hammar Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May...

My hero, forever.

Sweety, it's been 4 months and some days (I don't like to count) since you were taken away from me. My heart is shattered, our plans all gone, and I miss you every single day.
I miss your witty personality, your great advice, your support, you were not just a wonderful boyfriend but also my best friend. I will love you forever, and I hope that I can see you again to tell you how important you were in my life. Te amo, jag aslkar dig.

We worked with Carl and his Co back in Jan. I'd see him periodically during this deployment, but we really met again just two weeks before his death in Kuwait on the way back from our leave. A wonderful extremely intelligent man. One of those special people that pass through in your life that you instantly admire and want to be around. I, as well as my team were devastated when we learned of his death and havent stopped speaking about him since. We love you and miss you, Brother.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Carl will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed

But I salute you; allow me the honor
