Carl A. Eckstein, 86, a longtime resident of Anderson, Indiana, an employee of Anaconda Wire and Cable for 41 years before his retirement, died at Rawlins House in Pendleton on Wednesday, November 15, 2000, following a brief illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Sunday, November 19, 2000, 2-6 p.m., at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson. Recitation of the rosary is scheduled for Sunday, at 5:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, November 20, 10 a.m., at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, officiated by Father Edward Dhondt. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to St. John's Hospice, 2020 Meridian Street, Anderson, IN 46016. Arrangements entrusted to Brown Butz Diedring Funeral Home, Anderson, Indiana.
