Not sure what to say?

I liked CK a lot mostly because he had a joviality sitting on the edges of his personality that loved popping up - the least noticeable the better. Missed but will always be tucked in my memory ...

May You Rest in Peace.

My mother was a great fan of his morning show and my older brother and I were great fans of his son's group. I didn't know him personally as some of the commenters on FB but I do remember he seemed like a good guy and he must have been because Mom liked him.

I believe it was in the early 70's when I volunteered and began reading for WORDS. I was very hesitant and wasn't sure it was something I could do well. Not to worry.....CK was so encouraging, so matter-of-fact, so much fun to work with....he gave me the confidence I needed to do something worthwhile and enjoyable.....I am glad I had the privilege of knowing and working with CK. He made the world a better place.

I worked with CK for many years at WDTN. He was one of the finest human beings I ever encountered in all my many years in broadcasting... and oh, those pipes of his. I used to tell him if I had a voice like his I would be in NY, LA or Chicago making millions. He also had a great sense of humor. My deepest sympathy to his family.
