Not sure what to say?

I have many fond memories of conversations with Carl. Most are funny statements that would start him laughing inside before he actually told us what he was thinking, but Carl was also a great reservoir of sometimes useful information and lessons to learn.

It was about 32 years ago that the IIAANY Executive Committee was discussing finances for the organization in our Syracuse office. Carl introduced the group to the term "defensive interval," at that meeting. Understanding it was a...

From Wayne and Claranita Ernstrom of Martinez, California

We are just finding out about Carl's death and want his family to know that our remembrances of Carl come from visiting with him and his parents in 1969, Wayne has talked to Carl since then to talk about the Ludwig Ernstrom family and particularly Carl's parents.
May Carl's legacy continue with your family and his friends.

We will miss Carl very much. Had great times and loved his endless jokes that he would pull out of his pocket whenever and where ever. Love to Rita. Josie & Brian Wright

Rita, we are so sorry to hear that Carl is not with us but happy he is now in heaven with the Lord. We had many fun times with you both and always enjoyed his never ending stories that kept coming out of his pockets. He will be missed.

Dear Rita We were so sorry to hear about Carl's passing. Even though we met him only a few times, we were impressed with his kind manner and personality. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

As a classmate at Harpur College I have many fond memories of Carl. We remained friends over the years even though my wife Nadya and I saw him infrequently. His smile and positive attitude (and bad jokes) will remain with us.

Rita & family, I was heart sick to hear about Carl's passing. My thoughts & prayers go out to all of you. His smile was always warm & wonderful. Carl was a great family man & spoke of his family with so much pride. Our loss, heavens gain.

To Susan and Billy----as I knew you when you were toddlers in the early years in Chenango Bridge. Your dad and my late husband were classmates and fraternity brothers at Clarkson. Resumed our friendship when you moved to "the Bridge". Lots of happy memories. My condolences to you and your families at this time.
