It's been a lot years since we have spoken. We moved out of town(December 1967)but have thought often about our group of friends growing up on Westview. Dads are hard to lose, especially one who was as close to you as yours was.

I wanted to come to the calling hours last night, but a last-minute emergency came up and I wasn't able to. I was going to come to the funeral today but had a doctor's appointment.

I have been thinking about you since I heard the news. He was a year ahead of me in school and was highly respected as being one of the most level kids in the school -- not flamboyant...
