Carl DID MY HEART SURGERY IN 1986 AND THOUGHT IT WOULD L AST ABOUT 6 YEARS. In a FEW MONTHS I WILL BE 86 AND STILL WORKING WELL. thanks Carl AND HIS TEAM FOR THE GREAT WORK.

Dear Dorothea My husband and I met Carl when he first moved to A2. His sons were the same ages of our children. His sense of humor was so great and his caring way outstanding. He actually had a place in Bahamas near us. Our children enjoyed many fun times there for Spring break. Dorothea and Carl are very special friends and we will miss Carl however memories sustain us. Hi Dorothea. I just heard of the passing of Carl. I am so sorry. I remember all the cases I was there with him, and you too. He was an excellent surgeon. I remember he picked me to scrub on his last case in the OR. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Your old friend Sue

Dorothea, Jeff May notified us with the sad news of Carl's passing. We met you and Carl in the fall of 1999 when we accompanied our son, John, on a recruiting trip for golf to UMICH. Although John attended college elsewhere, Carl's interest in and support of his golf endured. We enjoyed seeing and catching up with him on his visits to Denver.
