My time on Earth has come and gone, but I have lived a wonderful life with few, if any, regrets. My high school and college summers were spent as a counselor at Camp Swatara. There I met the love of my life, Cindi, and developed friendships that have lasted my lifetime. It also prepared me for my...

Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Fry, I am so sorry to hear about Coach Fry´s passing. He was my soccer coach at CD in 1999 and 2000. He was always so positive and encouraging! And we loved having you around to support our team too, Mrs. Fry. May he rest in peace and may you and your family have God´s comfort.

Camp Swatara Appalachian Trail Hike June 30 - July 6. 1968

Carl is a part of so many of my Camp Swatara memories, from that one week each summer that I spent at mountainside camp or hiking the Appalachian Trail. He never failed to surprise us with something he said, usually with laughter, lots of laughter. As we started one of those hikes, I remember him suggesting that we count our steps. As I started with one, he began to shout random numbers, telling us to not repeat the numbers he had already used. It's clear as I read the guest book here and...

Dear Cindi, Linda and I are saddened to learn of Carl's passing. I recall talking to you about your experiences with him hiking and biking in Europe. Linda fondly recalls going to school with Carl and teaching with him at East Jr. H.S. Additionally, our daughter's both fondly remember him from their days at East Jr. He was a great teacher liked by colleagues and students. Carl's memory will live on in the lives of all he touched as a teacher, coach and friend. Please know that we are...

I am very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed my years teaching with him at CD.

Cindi, I'm very sorry about Carl's passing. I always looked forward to seeing you both when I played music at Masonic and my memories with him go back to our card-collecting days and even to my childhood, playing pick-up baseball in the fields of his family's farm after wagons were loaded. Wishing you all good memories at this difficult time. -Henry Koretzky

Carl and I taught many years in the Central Dauphin School District. I taught at Linglestown Middle and he taught at East Middle. I always enjoyed bringing my basketball teams to East so I could see Carl working at the scorer's table. We always appreciated each other's company. He was a classy person and will be greatly missed.

Saddened to learn of Carl´s passing today. Sharing the Health and PE office with him was memorable in so many ways. Kind, funny, compassionate he loved speaking of upcoming and past travels, and cannot remember him ever having a bad day teaching . Bless his loved ones at this difficult time.

Very nice write up on a life filled with memories and love... he was a great guy to have for gym.
