Not sure what to say?

Shocker:( Mom Farver, Had a "Military Parachute photo" on the bookcase for years; Of, Cousin Mr. Carl Gilfbert:( Sorry Linda & Family:(

Linda, Mary and family the members of the Ray Township Fire Department are truly sorry for your loss. Some of the older members of the department remember Carl washing and cleaning the fire trucks. He was an asset to our community during the time he spent on the department. Chief Jim DiMaria

Aunt Linda and Family, I know that we have not seen each other as much as in the past, but you all have always been on my mind. Uncle Carl was an inspiration to me, if only I could be half the person he was I know I would be alright. Some of my fondest memories of Carl were the summers we spent on the road traveling to the fairgrounds to show Bonnie and Claude and then there was always the days we would come over to help with the hay/straw. Man I miss those first couple years that we moved up...

Linda and Family, Carl (Shubbie) will be missed by all who knew him. I enjoyed being in his company and peoples memories will keep him alive. Ronald Roomian

Rest in peace dear brother-in-law, we will surely miss you.

Mr Gilbert was always so kind to me. He was such an encourager and interested in the latest adventure. I always loved to hear his insights about mechanical things, whether using heavy equipment or small engines, he had a wealth of experience. The way he treated me made me feel better about myself and gave me confidence.
He was a strong family man with a huge heart. He was also great Lions fan, that just shows his intense resolve.
