Not sure what to say?

I wrote this for Carl around Christmas 2022. I wanted to send him a card as a "thinking of you thing." "Happy Holidays!! Thank you Carl for everything you have done for me as a boy and young man. I would certainly not be the person I am today without your guidance, advice and genuine good nature. All very much appreciated." I never sent it and it makes me very sad. 3/26/23 I spent a whole lot of time on the farm when I was younger. Carl didn´t live at home anymore when...

Carl will be sadly missed and well remembered. May his soul rest in peace. Out deepest condolences to Lane and Family.

My prayers for you Lane as manage your life without Carl. Also special prayers for Lynn, Ginger and families. My father and Carl´s father were good friends from the Sacramento gang of boys. So as children we all knew each other very well. Carl was the story teller even then. May your memories help you through the future weeks, months ahead. God bless you all. Janet (Kimmel) Mattern

Carl was a long time neighbor and friend. He always had time to chat when he was out walking the neighborhood. My deepest condolences to Lane and all of Carl's family. May your saddened hearts soon be filled with happier times and great memories of Carl.

Carl will be dearly missed in the neighborhood. Several years after both of us living here, we realized that we are distant cousins -- small world! His beautiful flowerbeds brightened our neighborhood. I always enjoyed talking to him. Thoughts and prayer are with Lane and family. May he rest in peace!

Their home and yard were just gorgeous, and their welcoming personalities made us feel right at home! I was sad when they sold their home and moved to Ebola, but our friendship continued. Their new home was transformed into one with the same wonderful ambiance with beautiful gardens outside. It became a tradition that I...
