Rest peacefully my friend, you will truly be missed.

Though we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the beautiful moments we shared with him, the stories, the laughter, and the love. His memory will continue to inspire us to live with kindness and resilience, just as he did. May Carl rest in peace, knowing how much he meant to all of us.

Carl was quiet and appeared stoic but had a big heart. It amazed me to meet people on my jobs and elsewhere who knew him from landscaping, painting, auto repairs and other places. Once I told them he was my brother, their faces would light up and they'd say that they could see the resemblance. My heart is heavy at his passing but at peace in knowing his pain is over and that we will be warmly welcomed by so many relatives who've preceded him in death. He gave me a nickname that had a funny...
