Carl Edward Gould

Carl Edward Gould, age, 66 of Palm Coast, FL, passed away on Saturday January 28, 2023, at his home in Palm Coast. Carl was born on February 17, 1956, in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Warren & Elsie Gould. After high school, Carl worked for United Technology for ten years. Carl moved to Palm Coast in 1993 from New Haven, Connecticut. He studied to be a culinary chef at Daytona State College in 1999, on a grant from the American Culinary Federation. He went on to work as a chef at Halifax Plantation for 13 years before his retirement. Carl enjoyed gardening and maintained a beautiful garden in his home for many years. He was also an avid reader, particularly of religious works, and was a member of Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church where he was an active member of the men’s club. 

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Warren. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathy Gould; son, Daniel Gould; daughter, Sharon Reyneke; and twin brother, Mark Gould; as well as two grandchildren, many extended family members, and several close friends.

A memorial will be held at Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church, 101 Pine Lakes Pkwy., Palm Coast, FL 32164. A short service will be held, followed by the immediate family receiving friends and family. The Gould family has entrusted arrangements for Carl to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
