GREGORY - Carl John, 90, formerly of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2008 and was buried on October 9th with full military honors. He is survived by his three children, Annette Grimm, John Gregory, and Gary Gregory, and by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren....

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Carl's passing. I'm so grateful to have received his Christmas letter last year. He mentioned he hadn't been well and was in a nursing home. I had intentions of writing to him but somehow the time got away. I've know Carl & Viola since the 80's. I first met them at St. Joseph's Church in Lake Ronkonkoma. They were wonderful people and I cherish their friendship. I will forever miss both of them. My deepest sympathy to their family.
