Not sure what to say?

I remember having to "pull" calves in that barn in the early, early morning! Experience of a lifetime

My Heart is so sad at this news. My wife and I send our deepest condolences to Mrs Gries and Family. Any time Mr Gries would ask me to do something I didn´t think twice. He taught me so much about work ethic. In my 4years at Ridgeview I could not ask for SUBS.Mrs Gries was so sweet in so many ways. There were so many times I would get the Barn ready before he got up, that´s because I would coming from hooking out. I think of all the good times. If I am not mistaken he was a STEELER fan. RIP....

I remember him well. He was the herdsman at student home Ridgeview. Good folks

Only learned today (Feb 3) of Carl's passing. "Mr Gries" to me. As a MHS student at the farm where he was the dairyman, I learned a good work ethic from his example. Along with Mrs. Gries, they served as weekend houseparents and the two of them helped me understand what a loving couple relationship was supposed to look like. Some of my best memories at the school includes time spent in their presence. Dirk Dixon MHS-1970
