Not sure what to say?

I knew Carl when he had that great family of kids. I was married for a very short time to his brother-in-law, Scott! Everyone of his children is a hard worker; they love others well; they honor their families; the lean on the Lord and have success. I am so proud of them all. And I know he helped them be upstanding men and women. God Bless, Sharon. Kissing your spouse is a rough go, but God has a plan. Hi, All the Harrison´s! Love you, Aunt Joan

Kurt, Lana and other family, I remember your dad well as we were neighbors. He was so very kind and when our house had some vandals as a result of h.s. guys "cut" from team rosters, your dad took care of us. Once, I was alone when it happened at 12-14 yrs old and he walked all the way through the house with me to calm my fears that someone was inside. He was a great man who, I know, gave a lot to the people of Elkhart. May you find peace in your hearts at this time.

Carl worked for my uncle and father at Sutula Studio in Elkhart while he was still in high school. I'm sure he took some photographs but I think he honed his skills at developing the pictures in the darkroom. In those days, all processing was done on site. My parents were very fond of Carl. He was just a kid, but he was already figuring it all out. I remember when he joined the Army and went to Vietnam. That was not the popular thing to do at that time, but Carl was never interested in...

My friend for many years in good times and bad! Carl was also very good to my parents I wish we could have met again!! Love Sharon

I live in same park in Yuma as Carl and Sharon. I'm blessed to have met them and have them as loving friends. Carl officiated when my husband Jerry and I renewed our vows at our 25th Anniversary and he was there by Jerry's bedside to anoint him before he went to meet his Lord. Sharon and Carl are God's angels on earth and now Carl has joined my Jerry in heaven I know they are sharing stories there and looking down on Sharon and I. I will remember Carl for his loving kindness and smiling...

We had the pleasure of meeting Carl & Sharon in Yuma, AZ while visiting my mom. Although they have been great friends (family) to my mom & Papa, they soon became great friends (family) to us personally! Warm, gracious, loving, kind, generous, God-fearing, devout, honorable...just some of the many wonderful qualities we soon discovered to describe Carl & Sharon! Of course his quick wit, charming personality and wonderful stories made Carl a joy to be around. We only wish we had more time to...

The few times I talked with Carl the name Officer Friendly was him. The e kindness man I ever met. RIP Carl, my love goes to his wife Sharon and her family. You are an Angel in Heaven now.

I got to know Carl when I was on the fire department. His smile and friendly face was always welcome at our stations. He will be missed is an understatement. May he rest in the arms of the Lord. Lt John O. Martin Elkhart Fire Department (retired)
