Carl's sense of fun and his kindness impressed me most. I only learned today (Dec. 18, 2011) of Carl's passing. We grew up together in Commerce, from grade shool until World War II. Had many an enjoyable class of 1940 High School reunion. He and Betty were dear friends and I will miss him greatly. Al (he called me "Boots") Scroggin.
