Dear Hause Family,
I too, was a former student of Mr. Hause at WJHS in 1976. He was a gifted teacher, kind man, and talented coach. He left an incredible legacy. Your family is in the thoughts and prayers of of countless people across the nation. With sincere condolences, Teresa McKeown

Carl Hause was a great man and as nice a person as you would ever want to meet. Never saw him angry, never heard him raise his voice, never saw him falter in his concern for the students or anyone he worked with or dealt with for that matter. A great athletic director, teacher, family man, friend to everyone and human being. I'm so sorry I couldn't make today's celebration of a wonderful life. I'll get a hold of you Eric, my friend.

Marti and Hause Family,
As a member of KOK Lutheran Church, He will be missed by all and deepest sympathies to his family.

Always remember the memories, as the memories will last in our hearts forever!!

Carl Hause was my 9th grade Algebra teacher at Washington Jr. High School. I remember asking after class if he would tutor me after school. He always said YES! He was so helpful and kind to me. I remember when he became the athletic director at VHS while my children attended VHS and how delighted he was to see that I had children at VHS. Thank you for being a wonderful teacher and person. My deepest sympathy to the Hause family.

Mr Hause was my 9th grade algebra teacher at WJHS. He was a fantastic teacher & told the greatest stories! My condolences to his family.

Carl and Marty were our neighbors for many years. We enjoyed watching their children grow up and felt so fortunate to know them.
our sympathy is with all the family.
God bless you all at this hard time.

Carl was as brilliant, charming, humorous, loyal, and as devoted to kids as anyone I have ever known. He had the unique ability to see things as they really were and was an extraordinary leader of adults while being an inspiration and bedrock of support for students. As the Best Man at my wedding in 1995, he was my friend. As a teaching professional at my side for seven years, he was my wise counsel and profound mentor. As a Vista High colleague, he taught me about loyalty and teamwork. And...

Carl was a friend to so many. A well respected teacher and all around gentleman. We met Carl through other teacher friends as our boys went through the Vista School system. My oldest son ran with Jeff Hause while in school and we spent time with he and Marty at different friend parties. He was a quiet man but easily laughed. Have not seen him in several years since moving out of Vista. We wish Marty and the family all the best. Carl was one of a kind. Pat and Connie Hubbard, Valley Center
