Not sure what to say?

Lt Hauser was very mild mannered, and made briefings a pleasure to attend. Therewas always time to take our questions and ansert in more detail about what was going on. He would always say "Hi" and my name when passing in the hallways.

Dear Marion,

Juli and I are so sorry to learn of Chuck,s passing. He was a true gentleman and a friend we always claimed. Your visits to Lake Tahoe when you had a house up here always included a phone call and/or visit. Sometimes we went fishing and sometimes we all skied together (Nordic). You two really are a pair to copy. We know the love you had for each other. We are asking God to comfort you and your family at this most difficult time in your lives. All our love, Al & Juli Bowra

Marion and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. We always enjoyed seeing him when he visited Sylvia and Charlie. When I was younger, I thought all policemen were like him.......friendly, helpful.......a great role model.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Sheryl Wong (Art and Mary's daughter)

Reading his obituary, I am very impressed. He spent 30 years at Palo Alto PD, and the 15 yrs I was there, I never saw him lose his temper even once. He was always very calm and in control. My sympathy for all the family.

So sorry to hear about Chuck's passing. He always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him. such a nice man. My condolences to your family.
Darice Fong Koo
(Sylvia & Charlie's neighbor)

Marion and Family, I am very sorry to learn of Chuck's passing. I always remember how kind he was to me, Jim Cost and Chris Durkin when we came to PAPD from San Carlos in 1973. Chuck was one of the "good guys," "the best" and we will miss him.
Best Wishes always,
Bruce Cumming

My sympathy to the Hauser family on the death of a truly great husband, father, grandfather and g-grandfather. The memories of fun and laughter will be forever in my heart and I will continue be in the life of your dear Marion.
