And from the Sled Dog Club.................. MUSH On!

I have known Carl from 1966 to his parting. He got me in the Sled dog club as well. We had great fun teasing each other at work. He used to call me Rober.. Thinking of him> He must be talking with Walt now (Disney)

I found out late in September of Carl's passing, I saw Carl at Disneyland 5 years ago driving down main St. full of people with smiles and Carl at the hem yelling to people about the Magic Excitement of being in the kingdom. This reminded me of the 25 years I worked with Carl. We both smiled and I saw in his blue eye's the sparkle that Carl loved to give to people and young kids that were around him. In softball and on trips Carl always made it a fun time to be around him. Thank You Carl

Hi I knew Carl as a newspaper carrier, and as station manager at Dewey street station from 1971-1974. He always encouraged me to do the best I could, and always belived that I could do any thing I tried. He once took me up with him to judge the sled dog races in Palm Springs I enjoyed that so. He always was their making sure you were having a good time. Five years ago I met Carl again at Disneyland. He so enjoyed that job and was glad to have so many people to share with every day. He loved...

I have many fond memories of Carl. From my first taste of In-N-Out burger as a child, to cheerleading during football season at RCC where Carl rarely missed a game. He'll be remembered for his contagious smile and clever words. However, I'll remember Carl for being one of the greatest dads of all time. Growing up close to his daughter Tammy, it was obvious how much they both adored each other and what a loving daddy/daughter relationship they shared.

Carl was a good man. He was a part of my life starting in 1954. I already had a paper route when I first met him. He became my new District Mgr. I remember him rolling up in his 51 Ford with Fender Skirts and dual pipes. At that age we use to go to the roller rink. Carl had a part time job there as a referee. I remember how thin he was and how he wore a white hat and blew a whistle if someone acted up. He skated backwards really well! I also remember watching him race jalopy cars at the old...

Carl, was such a great man and spirit. He always had a great Irish joke to tell and loved making people laugh. I missed working with him and loved calling him Grandpa. I know he is smiling down at us know laughing at all that he knew. I will see him again someday, gladly. He will be missed!! Much love, hugs and kisses Carl!!

Carl was an inspiration! Mush! He spent many years in the California Sled Dog club as well. We had many sparring conversations, through the years. He will be Greatly Missed! BJ

I remember Carl from when I was a kid, I had carrier route 11-6 on Mountain View street. He was very kind and understanding, even if you forgot to come to a station meeting. He is one of few people who have left a positive impact on my life.

Tearfully,
