Not sure what to say?

It's been so long since I've skated with you and dale and Jared ...we all played street hockey at the church parking lot then we became good on skates ..and i mean good...we were all so proud of you...we grew up with an x games skater ...you...you made it all look so easy....you lived life like you skated...with no fear...and of course you had to go to heaven first cause heaven needed a skatepark ....the last time I saw you was at we are one skatepark when we were making it ...i miss you lil...

My mind is flooded with the great moments we shared with little Carl throughout these years. He gave us his son, Ryley, whom is so much like him! We appreciate all little Carl shared with us, the trips to Disneyland, & all the X Games thrills on the beaches of California! What a super Star he is!
Carl was one that would drop everything to do a favor for me in my business. Whenever I asked, he was the first to step up!
Shine brightly, little Carl! We love you!

Carl and Family: I just wanted to send you our deepest condolences for the loss of your son Carl Jr. I am so sorry that we were unable to be there during your time of grief, but please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers. You can take comfort in the knowledge that that the love of friends and family will always carry you through any crisis, and that time will help to heal your heartache.
Love - Ron and Nan Hills

I will always remember you Carl. You were like my brother for many years! I thank you for our biggest blessing, Ryley. I see so much of you in him. Please watch over him and give him strength through this. To all of Carl's family. You will always be part of us Gustavson's. I love you and am so sad over the loss of Carl. Fly high Carl, FLY HIGH!!

Carl and family,
I realize there is nothing that can be said to relieve you of the loss, pain and sadness you are feeling at this time. Children are the most precious gift we ever receive as human beings. They fill our hearts with love, joy and unlimited altruism.
Please know that I send my love and concern.
Patrice
