Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear David & Buddy's children;
It has been many years since we have thought of one another; but we did some growing up together. Our dads worked together driving trucks with Uncle Joe Paolucci; our dad was Pete Petro. My mom was Ruthie & always baking something. You guys used to come to our house in Greenwood & we played tag for hrs. My brother was a Buddy too so I was always left holding the bag calling tag on 2 Buddy's. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all through the years...

To the Hollenback Family and Lisa,

we were very sad, when we heard that Carl passed away.
We remenber him as a very kind and humorous person.
When we came over from Germany in 2001 to live in the US for 2 years, he was very helpful and generous. We enjoyed his hospitality and company and we appreciated working with him very much.
He liked kids a lot, our kids were fond of him, and he often talked about his kids and how proud he was of them.

We think back...

Since Wed I have not stopped thinking about Carl and his family, this picture makes me smile and hope it does the same for you.,

Dear LJ and Family,

I want to express my sympathy to you in the loss of your Dad. I know it is a difficult time right now but you can take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is resting in peace. Remember the good times and always keep him in your heart, where he will live forever. I am praying for all of you. God Bless.

To the Hollenback Family,
I did not know your father, but I work closely with Lisa. She shared many stories of your Dad. I know the battle your Dad had fought. I give you my deepest sympathy. He is in a better place now and will always watch over all of you.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Kim Thomas

Dear Hollenbacks,

I was so sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. One of the highlights of my summers growing up was the week I would spend at 421 Corner Street with Marion, Buddy and David. We had such good times -- and they continued as we grew up and stayed in contact. My heartfelt sympathy to Linda, Carl, Cheri, and Erica, and to David and Dawn.

To the Hollenback Family and Lisa,
My husband and I can not express the sadness that we feel for each of you to have lost such a wonderful and good father... brother...friend...
It is with our own sad and heavy heart that we express our deepest and sincerest sympathy for your loss.
We knew Carl (Buddy) very well a long time ago--but we considered him our good friend even till today. Time and distance can never diminish true friendships that are bonded by youth. Our hearts...

Dear Hollenback family: I was so sad to hear of Buddy's death. I have so many memories of him and David and Marion when we were all children. One of our favorite things to do (me, and my two sisters Janet and Barb) was to go to Dunmore to visit the family. Two fo the times we always got together was around Christmas (we'd stop in after Christmas shopping in Scranton) and around Marion's and my birthdays, only 4 days apart, in September. Buddy was always fun-loving but as he got older, I...
