Mr. Hooks was always a kind-hearted man who was so proud of Bob and Amy. He projected a kindness to others that was uniquely welcoming and made you feel like you were a longtime friend of his. When I was teaching at Highlands, I would see him and his buddies drinking coffee and laughing at McDonald's.
