Not sure what to say?

I had the good fortune of meeting Ike when, in 1990, after he had attended a wedding in Duluth, he and Neil decided to take a Sunday drive to the International Falls/Fort Frances area. On that day I happened to be the only relative in town and after a few inquiries in Fort Frances he was pointed in my direction. I had not met my mother’s cousins (Iris MacDonald-Howard) so I was delighted to have the opportunity to do so. Neil, Ike and I enjoyed the afternoon over Sunday dinner and watching a...

I (Ed) rocked him as a baby, and have known him all his life. We enjoyed our visits with Buster when we lived in Fayettville and when we passed thru after our move. He always had an uplifing attitude, he will be greatly missed. He was one of our favorite nephews. We send our deepest sympathy to Aaron and Lavina and rest of the family.

Uncle Ike was a special person and will be greatly missed. He is to be admired for the love he had for his family and for his devoted attention he gave to Aunt Loraine. We will always cherish the memories of his visits with us. Love, Jimmy and Shirley Rogers

We have really enjoyed Ike & Lorraine's visits for many years. They were very dear to us. To you the children, we extend our deepest sympathy. We will surely miss Ike's presence and phone calls.
Our thoughts are with you!
Herman & Verdie Mae Rogers/Mint Hill, N. C.

During the early 1960s Ike, Lorain and Punkie (Lavina) were frequent visitors at my Sauk Village IL home. We four grownups sometimes indulged in hot dogs and beer while Punkie entertained and kept us amused. Ike worked with me trouble-shooting on the Fifth Region ARADCOM Missile Sites in the Chicago area. After my retirement in 1986 the computer kept us in contact. Ike will be greatly missed by so many. My sincerest sympathies to Lorain and their entire family.

Gordy, Buster, Ike, Carl, whatever he wanted to be called, we really enjoyed our visit with him last spring, he was full of wonderful stories and it was so good to see him. We will miss his emails and calls. He was a great cousin!

Uncle Ike was truly a very kind and special man. We always looked forward to the times when he would come visit. We will hold our memories of the times we spent with him close to our hearts. He will never be forgoten. With love from Kent, Robin, Miranda, and Adam Huntley
