Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Carl's death. He was a wonderful musician. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Aunt Peggy,
It has been quite a few years now since our paths have crossed, but I have always kept my family in my heart. Some of my best memories is Uncle Carl smoking that fiddle, and he sure could. God bless you and your family. We Love You.

Carl was a great musician and a fine gentleman.I sure did enjoy performing on stage with him and discussing family and friends. Carl will be missed by everyone who knew him and his music. Our condolences to all the family. May God be with each of you during this difficult time. Buford Kegley @Blue Ridge Country 98.1 and Rhonda

.........as a kid growing up in this area, trying to learn to pick and sing, it was a joy and privilage to get a chance to have a tune with a musician such as Carl Joyner....Carl didn't just love playing the fiddle, he lived it,...and he played with a lilt and verve that made his style uniquely his..........his playing on the first Roy McMillan Rebel albums proved that, and Carolina Country, one of his compositions, is one fine fiddle tune...the neatest collection that I have of Carl's...

The world is a sadder place today without this quiet, kind man and his tales of when they were growing up. His music was a blessing to all that had the privilege of hearing it. The band will not be the same without his fiddle, and we wont be the same without him.We love you and will miss you Uncle Carl.

Carl was a fraternal brother, friend and one of the best musicians I have ever played with. He was always considerate of others and willing to help those in need. Carl is no longer with us, but his life's accomplishments on earth will be with us forever. Keep the Lord's fiddle in tune Carl. We will play again in heaven.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
